Translate, dammit!

Sent off an updated translation of Evolution 1.4. Though by no means complete, it will hopefully do away with the worst mishaps of the previous translator.

Fractal vibes.

So, since Google did their fractal logo thing, a lot of people found pretty pictures of Quaternion Julia Fractals and the Buddhabrot fractal method. Looking very cool. I don’t know what quaternions are, but maybe I’ll sit down and learn about them one quiet summer morning. Very pretty, at least.

I did some simple mandelbrot thingies once. Quite pretty, though I used the traditional projections, plus value-at-end-of-iteration for the central body colour. Pity I never bother to make my circle map look good.

Kanskje eg skal berre hoppa over. Eller blanda litt.

Wasting one more summer

Applied for CERN’s Summer Student Programme. Now to wait. And maybe work a little on the thesis, seeing as that supervisor has decided to up the pressure a bit. Probably good thing.
