Spam spam spam spam spam must die

For a couple of weeks I’ve been pestered with comment spam about online poker. Since I can’t trivially and legally find and gore whoever is responsible, I instead hacked a crude badword check into the commit script. It seems to work, of sorts. I’m not sure whether the Movable Type lisence allows me to distribute the code or even make it in the first place. But for now I can rest knowing that my new spam-stopper and my old database cleaner seem to work well enough. Pity I didn’t understand the trackback database files, because that sort of stuff is also quite bad. So I’ve just blocked trackbacks, since they don’t seem all that useful here.
