Det er dessutan like gøy kvar gong eg vandrar gjennom Schipol å oppdaga at nederlandsk for “boarding” er “instappen”.
GNOME 2.10 is out. Since somebody were kind enough to drop a list of a thousand or so place-names into GNOME 2.8, I had quite a bit of work last time doing very uninteresting translations in order to get above 80 %. Now this time, the place-name list is expanded considerably. Someone from the Bokmål team did translate quite a lot of them, but that alone wasn’t enough to keep the Norwegian Nynorsk translation afloat above 80 %. Sadly I decided to give my master’s priority this time.
Wonder what GNOME 2.10 is like, though. Will it compile usably on a RHEL machine?
Pub: Skjenkestove.

Sidesprang: Dataordet “daemon” kan omsetjast til «nisse» på norsk.
Over eighty percent! Åsmund da man! I rule!
So. Norwegian Nynorsk will now be an officially supported language in GNOME 2.8, and Evolution will hopefully be half-decently translated for once.
Sent off an update to Evolution. Lots of crypto stuff I just skipped over, not comprehending at all. But it should lift nn slightly closer to precious 80%.
GNOME 2.8, 15th of September.
Sent off an updated translation of Evolution 1.4. Though by no means complete, it will hopefully do away with the worst mishaps of the previous translator.
